Ben Whittaker delivered a flawless performance in his Matchroom debut on Saturday against Benjamin Gavazi.
Whittaker knocked down the German twice, ending the bout in under two minutes.
The victory preserved Whittaker’s unbeaten record and followed his second-round stoppage of Liam Cameron in April.
Victory Overshadowed by Burglary
After returning home, Whittaker discovered burglars had ransacked his house, he revealed on Instagram.
He offered a large reward for information and confirmed thieves stole his IBF belt.
Whittaker wrote, “Highs and lows of the sport…come back, house has been burgled…Find these people and let me know.”
Future Prospects and Rematch Success
Whittaker previously fought Cameron last October, with the bout ending in a technical draw after an accidental fall.
He joined Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom in October and impressed in his first fight under the new promotion.
Hearn suggests Whittaker could fight in the US next year, building on his growing professional momentum.
