The UFC has faced a late disruption ahead of its upcoming Perth Fight Night.

The promotion plans its second Australian trip of the year with UFC Perth, scheduled for September 28 at RAC Arena in Perth. Fans anticipated an exciting card, but the lineup has changed.

Co-Main Event Pulled Due to Injury

On Thursday, the UFC announced the light heavyweight clash between Junior Tafa and Ibo Aslan will no longer take place. The fight had been slated as the co-main event.

The promotion did not reveal which fighter withdrew. Officials also did not confirm if the matchup will reschedule. In response, another 205-pound bout between Jimmy Crute and Ivan Erslan moves up to co-main event status.

    UFC Perth Lineup Remains Strong

Despite the setback, UFC Perth will still showcase a packed 14-fight card featuring top talent from across Oceania.

The main event highlights a crucial light heavyweight clash as Carlos Ulberg faces former title challenger Dominick Reyes. Fans will also see a welterweight bout between veterans Jake Matthews and Neil Magny. Featherweight fighters Jack Jenkins and Ramon Taveras complete the featured fights.
