FBI Investigation Shadows UFC Vegas 110, Over 100 Fights Flagged

UFC Vegas 110 faces intense scrutiny after allegations of fight-fixing emerged around Isaac Dulgarian’s bout with Yadier Del Valle. Claims suggest the controversy could extend to more fights and referees.

    FBI Flags Multiple UFC Fights

MMA journalist Harry Mac shared serious allegations on X, formerly Twitter. He claims the FBI informed the UFC that the Dulgarian vs. Del Valle fight was blocked from betting due to suspicious activity, yet the fight continued. Mac also alleges over 100 other UFC fights, including two more from Vegas 110, were flagged for unusual betting patterns. He added that federal officials may target fights refereed by Jason Herzog for a potential audit.

    Unusual Betting Sparks Refunds

No independent sources have verified Mac’s claims. Still, sportsbooks like Caesars, William Hill, and DraftKings refunded bettors after abnormal line movements in the Dulgarian vs. Del Valle fight. LowKickMMA reported that Dulgarian entered as a -250 favorite but dropped to -166 rapidly. Meanwhile, significant bets poured in on Del Valle for a first-round finish.

Del Valle Dominates, Performance Under Scrutiny

Del Valle controlled the fight from start to finish, taking Dulgarian down multiple times and earning a first-round submission. MMA analysts criticized Dulgarian’s performance, raising questions about the fight’s legitimacy.

Historical Scandals Cast a Long Shadow

The allegations arrive almost three years after the infamous Darrick Minner vs. Shayilan Nuerdanbieke fight, which led to James Krause’s ban from MMA. Dulgarian previously trained at Glory MMA with Krause, connecting him indirectly to past controversies. After the Minner fight, UFC tightened gambling rules, prohibiting fighters, coaches, managers, and affiliates from betting on any match.

    Growing Sports Gambling Concerns

The UFC controversy surfaces amid broader sports gambling scrutiny, including investigations in the NBA. Analysts suggest betting irregularities and historical context could pressure UFC officials and referees. UFC has not issued a public statement, and federal authorities have not confirmed any ongoing investigations.
