Jordan Leavitt secured a clear decision victory over Yadier Del Valle after moving down to featherweight at UFC Houston.
The experienced American controlled large portions of the three-round bout and handed Del Valle his first defeat.

Leavitt, coming off a submission win over Kurt Holobaugh, dictated the grappling exchanges and neutralised his opponent’s offense.
Del Valle had entered the fight unbeaten with two quick UFC submissions but struggled to match Leavitt’s pace and control.

The contest produced one unusual late moment that quickly went viral.
In the closing seconds, while in a grounded position, Leavitt slapped his opponent in a gesture that drew immediate attention.

    The action divided fans online.
Some criticised both fighters and questioned the quality of the bout.
Others saw it as another example of Leavitt’s flair for creating memorable moments.

The win gives Leavitt back-to-back victories and a successful start at featherweight.
