Dana White’s new boxing promotion may be set to deliver one of the most anticipated fights in history. Zuffa Boxing has held only two events so far, but White brings years of experience promoting major combat sports events and is widely considered one of the best in the world. Reports suggest he now plans to test that reputation with a historic clash that fight fans have awaited for over a decade. White has claimed he will “rock the industry,” and insiders say that promise may soon come true with a blockbuster matchup.

Dana White reportedly sets up Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua on Netflix

BoxingScene reports that Dana White could finally make the long-awaited heavyweight showdown happen. Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua have been rivals throughout their professional careers but have never fought professionally, aside from a sparring session in their youth. Sources indicate that Zuffa Boxing plans to stage the fight, with Netflix likely to broadcast the event. The streaming giant will reportedly feature Fury’s comeback fight in April against Arslanbek Makhmudov as part of the lead-up to the main event.

Joshua’s career paused after a tragic car accident last year that killed two of his close friends and left him with injuries. He has returned to training and released a detailed video reflecting on the loss. Fury, meanwhile, has not fought since losing two undisputed title fights to Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia by decision. Joshua last competed days before his accident, defeating Jake Paul in a Netflix-backed event.

Dana White promises big announcements after Zuffa Boxing 2

After the second Zuffa Boxing event, White teased major news during the post-fight press conference. “We have some pretty crazy announcements coming over the next few weeks,” he said without revealing dates or fighter names. “I’m way further in this than I anticipated being two shows in.” White also hinted at expansion and new deals, saying, “There’s a lot going on to rock the industry – new signings, more deals, new territories. By the end of 2026, it’s going to be impressive.”

White has a history of promoting boxing shows. He worked with Tom Loeffler on Callum Walsh events, including a Dublin homecoming in 2024. Last year, he was front and center for the high-profile Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford fight. His experience in staging major events could now culminate in one of the biggest heavyweight fights of all time.
