Darren Till Warns Jake Paul After Comparing Sparring With Tom Aspinall to Facing Anthony Joshua

Darren Till is the latest fighter to admit real concern for Jake Paul as the YouTuber-turned-boxer prepares to face Anthony Joshua on December 19 in Miami — a matchup many describe as a mismatch in power and experience.

Speaking to Boxing Social, the former UFC standout said it would take “life-changing money” to consider sharing a ring with someone like Joshua himself.

“Unless you’re giving me 20 mil or something, 10 mil, I don’t think I’m accepting it,” Till insisted. “I ain’t afraid of no man… but Anthony Joshua? That’s different.”

To explain why Paul is in serious danger, Till recalled his own difficult days sparring Tom Aspinall, the current UFC heavyweight champion and a close friend.

“Every day I’d go spar him, I’d be like: ‘Here we go again… I just don’t want to do this,’” Till said. “Tom doesn’t punch anywhere near as hard as Joshua… and that was bad enough.”

Till acknowledged the sessions helped him grow — but also caused long-term damage. He revealed that a torn ACL suffered during intense training with Aspinall marked “the beginning of the end” of his MMA career.

With that experience in mind, Till didn’t mince words about Paul taking on Joshua:

    “Let’s see what happens. It’s a f—ing circus, isn’t it?”

Joshua has already promised to “destroy” Paul, while top boxing figures like Oleksandr Usyk have warned it could become a serious health risk. Despite fans seeing the matchup as entertainment, fighters like Till make one thing clear — facing a heavyweight knockout artist is no joke.
