Former President Reaches Out to Nickal for Groundbreaking UFC Showcase

UFC contender Bo Nickal says former President Donald Trump personally reached out to him with an invitation to compete on the upcoming “White House Fight Card.” According to Nickal, Trump told him directly that his participation was a “done deal,” signaling the former president’s strong interest in having the rising star feature in the historic mixed martial arts event.

Event Tied to America’s 250th Anniversary Celebrations

Planned for June 2026, the White House fight night is expected to coincide with the United States’ semiquincentennial festivities. Trump, known for his long-standing friendship with UFC chief Dana White, has reportedly pushed for the sport to take center stage at the nation’s most famous address. Though Trump appears confident in Nickal’s involvement, the UFC has yet to confirm any finalized fight lineup or official contracts.

Dana White Urges Patience as Plans Develop

UFC CEO Dana White has clarified that discussions about the White House event are still ongoing and that no matchups have been officially set. While Trump’s enthusiasm has fueled speculation, White emphasized that logistical and security challenges must be resolved before anything becomes official. If completed, the event would mark the first time professional MMA takes place on White House grounds, blending sport, spectacle, and politics in a way never seen before.
