Ronda Rousey believes Paddy Pimblett is one of the few modern UFC fighters who truly understands how to become a superstar.
Speaking at New York Comic Con, the former bantamweight champion praised Pimblett for embracing both fighting and entertainment — a balance she said is crucial for breaking into mainstream fame.
“That’s what I think really matters — that you can make people know who you are,” Rousey told the crowd. “People that don’t know fighting. That’s how you command the entertainer aspect. The one person I think who really realizes that is Paddy Pimblett. And so I really appreciate that.”
Rousey, who became a global icon through dominant UFC performances and high-profile appearances in film and WWE, said many fighters overlook their role as entertainers.
Pimblett, known for his charisma, humor, and connection with fans, has built a following that extends well beyond the Octagon — something Rousey said separates stars from great fighters.
Her comments come as she promotes new projects and hints at a possible return to competition, which would mark one of the biggest comebacks in combat sports history.
