Conor McGregor has revealed that he will face Michael Chandler in his long-awaited UFC return at the White House event in 2026. The Irish star confirmed the matchup during an appearance on Fox & Friends, describing Chandler as “a good, tough guy” and referencing their past interactions on The Ultimate Fighter.
Despite previous uncertainties about McGregor’s comeback, he stated unequivocally, “I’m on it. This is me. Michael Chandler.” UFC president Dana White has indicated that fight matching for the White House event will begin in February, but McGregor’s comments suggest the bout with Chandler is already shaping up to be the marquee clash of the card.
