IBF super featherweight champion Eduardo ‘Sugar’ Nunez (29-1, 27 KOs) defeated Christopher ‘Pitufo’ Diaz (30-6, 19 KOs) via unanimous decision in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico.

Diaz attacked early, landing jabs and counters, but Nunez responded with precise combinations to the chin and body. The referee ruled a knockdown in round three a slip due to water on the canvas. Nunez dropped Diaz twice in round seven, gaining critical momentum. Diaz rallied in rounds eight through twelve, opening a cut over Nunez’s eyebrow, but Nunez finished strong. Judges scored the fight 117-109, 117-109, and 116-110 in Nunez’s favor.

Guevara and Molina Battle to Draw

Former two-time champion Pedro Guevara (43-5-2, 22 KOs) fought Alexis ‘Chapito’ Molina (13-1-2, 5 KOs) to a 10-round draw. Guevara dominated early rounds, landing heavy punches to Molina’s chin and body. Molina gained the edge in mid-rounds, landing counters and combinations. Guevara suffered a cut over his right eyebrow in round four. Both fighters exchanged in the final rounds, with Molina appearing to challenge Guevara’s dominance. Judges scored 97-93 Molina, 96-94 Guevara, and 95-95, resulting in a draw.

    Mosqueda Knocks Out Valenzuela

Flyweight contender Yoali Mosqueda (14-0, 11 KOs) stopped German ‘El Chile’ Valenzuela (17-8, 12 KOs) at 1:42 of the sixth round. Mosqueda outlanded Valenzuela in early rounds and scored multiple combinations to the chin. In round six, Mosqueda’s right hand again staggered Valenzuela, prompting the corner to halt the fight.

    Beltran Jr. Secures First-Round Knockout

Junior middleweight Hector ‘Handsome’ Beltran Jr. (4-0, 4 KOs) defeated Moises Martinez-Zumaya (2-1, 1 KO) via first-round knockout. Beltran rocked Martinez-Zumaya with punches to the head and body, forcing two knockdowns. Referee Javier Penato stopped the fight after Beltran’s follow-up combination. Martinez-Zumaya suffered a bloody nose.

These fights highlighted Nunez’s resilience, Guevara’s contested battle, Mosqueda’s precision, and Beltran’s explosive power.
