Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) is set to expand its reach once again, this time with the help of Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg.
BKFC president Dave Feldman confirmed that Wahlberg will be involved in an upcoming docuseries focused on the fast-growing combat sports promotion. Speaking with BKFC star Mike Perry on the Overdogs Podcast, Feldman said: “We’ve been talking to Mark a lot, and he’s actually agreed to help us out with a docuseries we’re gonna do for BKFC.”
The project follows BKFC’s previous series Deep Cuts, which spotlighted Perry’s rise in the sport ahead of his high-profile clash with Luke Rockhold. While details of Wahlberg’s role remain under wraps, his involvement is expected to boost the promotion’s visibility significantly.
Wahlberg, known for his roles in The Fighter and other boxing-themed films, is a longtime combat sports fan. His partnership marks another step in BKFC’s bid to cement its status as a major force in the fighting world — a push that began gaining momentum after Conor McGregor publicly aligned himself with the organization.
BKFC’s popularity has surged in recent months, highlighted by a headline-grabbing fight between Mike Perry and Jeremy Stephens, with McGregor hinting at a potential future showdown against Perry — a bout that could become the biggest in BKFC history.
