At the end of 2024, Dana White teased fans with a massive fight in 2025. He claimed no one would see it coming.

As 2025 wraps up, UFC supporters are already eager to see what 2026 will bring. Dana White stays in charge, pushing the promotion to new heights.

Yet, with 2026 only days away, the fight White teased never appeared. Fans are still left guessing what he had planned.

Dana White hints at a surprise fight

The UFC closed 2024 with a Fight Night in Tampa, Florida, headlined by Colby Covington and Joaquin Buckley. After the event, White spoke to the media about the promotion’s achievements and future plans.

During the post-fight press conference, he promised a huge bout that would thrill fans. “I anticipate a lot of big fights. I’ve got something in the works right now that will drive you f—— crazy, you guys will be running around. I’ve got something in the works right now that you will never f—— see coming, for 2025, that literally started to come together last night,” he said.

Despite White’s tease, the fight never took place, leaving fans in suspense. Many expected Brock Lesnar’s return, while others predicted a potential matchup with Conor McGregor.

    Fans continue to speculate

White’s words kept the UFC community buzzing throughout 2025. Social media exploded with theories, but no official confirmation ever arrived. Fans remain curious about which fighter was intended for the teased bout.

This mystery highlights White’s ability to stir excitement and maintain attention around the promotion. His surprises continue to be a key element of UFC’s appeal.

    Eyes on 2026

With the UFC’s 2026 schedule approaching, White has started revealing major fights for the new year. Conor McGregor teased his Octagon return, likely at the UFC White House event in June. This appearance promises to draw huge attention and boost the promotion.

Fans now look ahead to 2026, eager to see which matchups will define the next chapter of the UFC. Dana White’s ability to shock the audience remains strong.
