Conor McGregor celebrated what he called the greatest night in bare-knuckle boxing history. The BKFC co-owner watched from home as his promotion staged a memorable event on Saturday night. Over 18,000 fans filled the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for BKFC KnuckleMania VI. The record-breaking crowd witnessed Andrei Arlovski achieve a historic feat, becoming a two-sport world champion with a bloody victory over Ben Rothwell in the main event.

Andrei Arlovski inspires fans with post-fight message

After the fight, Andrei Arlovski addressed fans battling cancer. The former UFC heavyweight champion survived the disease three times. “People who are fighting cancer right now, don’t give up,” Arlovski said. “I am living proof. Three-time survivor. Keep fighting. Life is beautiful.”

Conor McGregor responded to Arlovski’s triumph with an emotional tribute on Instagram. “Andrei Arlovski is a hero! He represents resilience and courage,” McGregor wrote. “He fought cancer three times and now holds the BKFC heavyweight championship.”

    McGregor prepares for long-awaited comeback

Conor McGregor has not fought since breaking his leg in a trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021. The 37-year-old plans to return at the UFC White House event in June. First, McGregor must negotiate a new contract with the promotion. His previous deal became obsolete after the UFC signed a $7.7 billion broadcast agreement with Paramount, ending the traditional pay-per-view system.

“I’m entering negotiations with the UFC in February,” McGregor said. “The company’s new deal with Paramount quadrupled its profits. My old contract relied on PPV sales, which no longer exist. I generated the highest PPV numbers of all time. I deserve a new agreement.”

McGregor added that he remains eager to finalize terms and return to competition. “I’m very interested to see how the talks go,” he said, emphasizing his commitment to making a triumphant comeback.
