Bad Blood Isn’t Settled Yet as Tate and DeMoor Head Toward a Sequel

Andrew Tate and Chase DeMoor appear destined to meet again in the ring, with a rematch between the two heavyweight rivals now firmly on the cards before the end of the year.

    A Close First Fight Sparks a Do-Over

DeMoor, the reigning Misfits heavyweight champion, has revealed that Tate included a rematch clause in their bout agreement and is already pushing for another showdown. The pair clashed in Dubai last month, where Tate made his professional Misfits Boxing debut shortly after being announced as the promotion’s CEO.

The contest itself was tight but far from explosive. Tate controlled the early rounds before visibly fading as the fight wore on, allowing DeMoor to edge a narrow points victory. Despite the subdued action, DeMoor successfully defended his title and extended a remarkably busy 2025, having already fought seven times during the year.

Respect, Rematch Clauses and Unfinished Business

Speaking on streamer JasonTheWeen’s channel, DeMoor said Tate handled the defeat with class and acknowledged the result.
“He gave me the respect,” DeMoor explained. “He said I was the better guy on the night, bigger and younger. But he put a rematch clause in there. He wants to run it back, and we’re going to fight again this year.”

While DeMoor is looking ahead to a major year in Misfits Boxing, the prospect of settling the score with Tate again appears increasingly likely, according to reports from All Out Fighting.

Tate’s Spiritual Take and Other Challengers Waiting

After the fight, Tate raised eyebrows by suggesting forces beyond boxing may have influenced the outcome. He questioned why his stamina suddenly disappeared and framed the loss as part of a larger plan, ultimately saying DeMoor deserved the win and the spotlight that came with it.

Beyond a Tate rematch, DeMoor has no shortage of potential opponents. He has publicly expressed interest in facing Misfits standout Darren Till, the former UFC welterweight contender. Till quickly welcomed the idea, posting online that DeMoor seemed to be the only fighter eager to step up.

Till has built momentum in Misfits Boxing with wins over Anthony Taylor and Darren Stewart, before capturing the promotion’s bridgerweight title against Luke Rockhold last August. Whether DeMoor chooses to defend his crown against Till or run it back with Tate, one thing is clear: his next fight is unlikely to be short on attention.
