The World Boxing Cup Finals 2025 will take place at the Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex in Greater Noida from November 14 to 21. Over 140 top-tier boxers from 18 countries will compete, including three Olympic medalists.

India will field a powerful 20-member contingent featuring both seasoned veterans and rising stars. The team includes ten men and ten women, with several past World Boxing medalists among them.

Leading the women’s lineup are former World Champion Nikhat Zareen (51kg), reigning World Champions Jaismine Lamboria (57kg) and Minakshi (48kg), two-time Asian Champion Pooja Rani (80kg), former World Champion Saweety Boora (75kg), and World Championship silver medalist Nupur Sheoran (80+kg).

The men’s side features Hitesh (70kg) and Abhinash Jamwal (65kg), both previous medalists from this season’s World Boxing Cup. The competition will also welcome Paris Olympic medalists Aeji Im of South Korea, Wu Shih-Yi, and Chen Nien-Chin of Chinese Taipei, along with multiple World Cup gold medalists.

India Poised to Showcase Strength on Home Soil

Boxing Federation of India (BFI) President Ajay Singh praised the opportunity to host the event. “Bringing the World Boxing Cup Finals to India is a proud moment,” he said. “It reflects our progress on the global stage and our growing reputation as a boxing powerhouse. Hosting Olympic and world champions here is an honor and a challenge our athletes are ready to meet.”

Singh added that the tournament offers Indian boxers the perfect platform to test themselves against the world’s best. “Our athletes have proven they belong at the top. This event allows them to show it once more in front of home fans,” he said.

India’s men’s roster also features Jadumani Singh (50kg), Pawan Bartwal (55kg), Sachin (60kg), Sumit (75kg), Lakshya Chahar (80kg), Jugnoo (85kg), Naveen Kumar (90kg), and Narender (90+kg). The women’s lineup includes Preeti (54kg), Parveen (60kg), Neeraj Phogat (65kg), and Arundhati Choudhary (70kg).

Season Finale to Crown Global Boxing Champions

The World Boxing Cup Finals will conclude the annual international boxing circuit, with top-ranked fighters across ten weight divisions battling for the coveted World Boxing Cup trophy.

As one of the sport’s most anticipated events, the Finals will bring together Olympic heroes, world champions, and emerging contenders for a week of elite competition. For Indian boxing, it marks both a celebration of progress and a chance to inspire the next generation.

The event promises intense matchups, global attention, and a showcase of athletic excellence — all under the bright lights of Greater Noida.
