Nishant Dev urged Anthony Joshua to fight Jake Paul, saying the bout would expose Paul’s lack of professional skill.
Paul recently confirmed a November fight with Gervonta Davis, but Dev argued Joshua would provide the ultimate reality check.

    Dev Challenges Paul’s Boxing Credentials

Speaking with EssentiallySports, Dev questioned Paul’s experience despite his popularity and string of headline-making fights.
He stressed that most professionals train from childhood, unlike Paul, who entered boxing from entertainment.
“Paul has never faced someone like Joshua,” Dev insisted. “A fight with him would reveal what boxing truly demands.”
Dev predicted Joshua would finish Paul with a knockout, proving the gulf between elite fighters and newcomers.

    Joshua’s Camp Rejects Exhibition Offer

Reports revealed Paul discussed a Joshua fight before agreeing to face Davis.
Eddie Hearn confirmed Paul proposed an exhibition, which Joshua immediately dismissed.
“We don’t want exhibitions,” Hearn said. “AJ treats every fight as real, preparing to win convincingly.”
He stressed Joshua would only accept a sanctioned contest, recorded officially, with career impact.

Skill Versus Spectacle in Modern Boxing

Joshua’s decorated career contrasts sharply with Paul’s celebrity-driven matchups.
Joshua built his reputation through rigorous training and legitimate championship bouts.
Paul’s rise came from media buzz, not victories over world-class opponents.
A Joshua-Paul fight would spark debate over boxing’s future, weighing discipline against hype.

    Future Negotiations Focus on Legitimacy

Joshua’s team confirmed they will only consider sanctioned contests that reflect true career stakes.
Dev and other rising fighters see celebrity bouts as a chance to highlight real preparation and skill.
Though Paul now targets Davis, boxing circles still buzz about a potential Joshua showdown.
The discussion underscores the divide between professional legitimacy and spectacle-driven entertainment in today’s boxing landscape.
