UFC president Dana White offered an update on Conor McGregor’s possible participation in next summer’s planned UFC White House event.

    Conor McGregor’s status in MMA

Conor McGregor remains one of the most prominent stars in mixed martial arts history. In recent years, his reputation has faced challenges, leaving fans unsure if he will compete again in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Despite the uncertainty, McGregor has expressed interest in returning for the UFC White House event, scheduled for summer 2026. His participation depends on whether he remains serious about his intentions.

Dana White hints at McGregor comeback

In a recent interview, Dana White confirmed he would consider putting McGregor on the card. He told the media, “Yeah, we’ll see how this thing plays out. I’ll start making this card in February. If it all works out, Conor can be on the card.”

Jim Rome asked if McGregor could deliver what Dana expects from a fighter at this level. White responded, “This is the fight business. This isn’t tennis! This is the fight business.”

    Business and spectacle collide

Dana White knows the attention McGregor draws can elevate any event. If everything aligns, the UFC White House could surpass even the scale of UFC 300. The potential return of McGregor remains a key storyline for the sport’s biggest summer event, keeping fans eager for further announcements.
