Less than ten days after leaving the UFC, Bryan Battle made his debut at the Dirty Boxing Championship. At DBX 3, he defeated Derik de Freitas in a short, strange fight that left fans bewildered.

A chaotic start in the ring

After the opening combinations, Freitas swung wildly and grabbed onto Battle. The referee had to separate them. The fighters then traded uncontrolled punches until Battle landed a left hand that dropped Freitas. Battle immediately followed with ground strikes before the referee intervened again.

    Fight ends abruptly

After another stand-up, Battle knocked Freitas down with a series of hard shots. Freitas grabbed Battle’s leg but remained motionless and ignored the referee’s instructions. The referee stopped the fight and declared Battle the winner.

    Fans react with disbelief

Spectators reacted in shock to the unusual bout. Many called Freitas’ performance one of the weakest they had ever seen. Others criticized his lack of preparation and questioned the overall quality of the fight. Despite the strange spectacle, Battle celebrated a clear victory in his new league.
